Notifications & reminders

The Alerts & Re-Torques menu in the top bar collects things that need attention without cluttering the main boards.

• Workshop alert inbox — exception items such as mobile fleet alerts, low stock, tread-forecast warnings, and cross-workshop notices.
• Tread forecasts — a focused list of vehicles with tyre positions approaching minimum tread inside your alert window (see Job settings).
• Re-Torque queue — legally required post-refit follow-ups that are due or overdue, separate from routine torque checks.
• Work requests — customer-submitted tickets from the portal.

Acknowledging an inbox alert stops the flashing indicator for you only; other managers still see the item until they dismiss it. Unread items can be cleared in bulk or one by one.

When to use this inbox instead of Jobs

Use this area when you want a focused inbox instead of hunting through every job manually. It is better for reminders, attention items, and follow-up tasks that cut across normal job ordering.

If the queue is always full, review your team’s acknowledgement habits. Alerts are most helpful when they represent live work, not old tasks everyone has mentally ignored.
