Workshop app — daily work
Tread forecasts
Tyre wear forecasts, alert windows, and starting replacement work.
Tread forecasts show which vehicles have tyre positions approaching minimum legal tread within your workshop’s alert window. It turns wear history into actionable planning instead of waiting for a red wheel map on the next visit.
How forecasts are calculated
TreadOS uses recorded tread depth, odometer distance, and each tyre’s lifecycle data to estimate when a position will hit minimum tread. If there is not enough reliable data yet, that position simply will not forecast — the system prefers unknown over guessing.
Alert window
The default window — how many days or kilometres ahead to warn — is set in Settings → Job settings. Individual customer records can override it; leave those fields blank on the customer to inherit the workshop default.
What to do from the list
- Filter by registration, customer, or position when the list is long.
- Open the Vehicle record for full wheel-map context and history.
- Start a New replacement job or New replacement quote when you are ready to move the customer toward scheduled work.
Forecasts also feed the customer portal fleet dashboard (“coming up”) and can raise inbox alerts so managers see risk before the tyre is legally due for replacement.
